Lieutenant Brian Acree

Lieutenant Acree commands the Criminal Investigations Division, which encompasses Crime Scene Processing and the supervising the Detectives. He has over 20 years of law enforcement experience, and has multiple certifications including: P.O.S.T. Certified Instructor, Field Training Officer, Crisis Intervention Officer, Firearms Instructor, Georgia Work Ready Certified, and is the Department Training Officer. He was the department training officer for the City of Temple, GA and for the DJJ State Police Apprehension Unit. He was most recently certified by the U.S. Marine Corps to train international police officers in Sensitive Site Exploitation (bomb evidence recovery). Lt. Acree also spent 15 months training Iraqi police officers in various fields of law enforcement.
